Embracing the Journey with Confidence
Work-life balance is something that many professionals actively aspire to conquer and achieve. In order to be successful both professionally and personally, it is important to remember that this lifestyle is an ever-changing concept: what works for you today may not work tomorrow, and that’s okay. Breanna Allen, Ph.D., executive director of the Tolson Center for Community Excellence, will share her story on how she purposefully evaluates her needs and makes the necessary adjustments to maintain balance. In addition, Dr. Allen — wife, mother, community leader & servant, and president of the local chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated — will share lessons learned, advice, and will encourage attends to view work-life as an ongoing journey, not a destination.
This event is open to Young Professionals of all ages.
