Safety: Workers Compensation Claims and Return to Work from an Insurer’s Perspective

Join us for our January Breakfast to hear from a panel of three insurance experts to learn about Insurance Companies’ perspectives on Workers Compensation Claims, Return to Work and more.

Here are a few of the questions you’ll hear answered:

  • What does an underwriter want to see from an account when there are work comp claims?
  • How do you handle accounts when the experience mod is over 1.0?
  • What does an industry leading safety program look like for general industry?
  • Claims handling: how important is it to have trained staff to handle first aid/triage and complete the first report of injuries?
  • After a claim has occurred, what can a company do to minimize the amount of money spent on the claim?
  • What are the most important elements of a return-to-work program?
  • Why is a return-to-work program important?

Don’t see your worker’s comp questions in the list, no problem, bring them and ask!

Speakers: Alyssa Goudie, Zach Paz and Jessica Bennett, Horton Group
